SDI recognizes the need for training and professional development to be readily available to businesses across Canada. We believe that with today's technology, online training is the “now” solution for business. SDI develops and presents online courses and training for bookkeeping, accounting and accounting software. Our training and courses are designed to provide business owners, support staff, bookkeepers, accountants and consultants with applied working knowledge.
SDI also provides Simply Accounting consulting and support services to businesses in the Ontario cities of Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph and the surrounding areas.
Sue du Puy has over 25 years of business, accounting, educator and consulting experience. She started in her family’s business with bookkeeping and moved onto managing the business.
In 1991, Sue started KBS, an accounting and consulting business. When she recognized the need for accounting training in the business community, she developed and instructed Simply Accounting and bookkeeping courses. Her business courses were recognized and registered with the Private Post Secondary Education Commission of British Columbia.
In 2002, Sue moved to Ontario with her family. She started her second accounting, consulting and training business, and also instructed Simply Accounting, QuickBooks and accounting courses at Conestoga College. Her business and accounting experience ranges from small and retail businesses, to the manufacturing industry, to non-profit organizations. She has also worked with a team of engineers and accountants on claims for Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR & ED). Sue was also one of the founding partners of Prism Business Training Corp.
Sue enjoys the challenge of applying her business, accounting and training expertise to new business opportunities. She is a strong leader who understands the importance of analyzing the structure and direction of a business and creating accounting processes that will help a business succeed. Sue’s motto is "no question goes unanswered."
