Event Name: Bookkeeping Excellence Training Event

These terms and conditions apply to the Bookkeeping Excellence Training Event participant’s registration attending the Event.

The agreement is between you and Simply Training, the host of the Bookkeeping Excellent Training Event, hereafter referred to as the “Event | event”. By registering for the Event, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you are completing the registration on behalf of another individual, you must ensure that the person participating is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the registration on behalf of another individual, you warrant that you have made the individual aware of these terms and conditions and that they have accepted them.

Eligibility:
The Event’s contents are on topics and training beyond the basics. Participants should be knowledgeable of accounting fundamentals, have experience with the Full Accounting Cycle, understands Debits and Credits and have experience with Sage 50 Accounting. Attendees must be a minimum of 19 years of age.

Event Sessions:
Days 1 and 2 sessions are presentations using the Sage 50 Accounting Program. Attendees are welcome to bring a laptop computer and follow along during the Let’s Try Its! We will not be responsible for the participant’s laptop computer or any IT issues during sessions. Attendees will be seated at a desk with one power outlet and the Let’s Try It! materials. The training room opens at 8:00 AM for setup, and event staff will be on hand to help. Attendees can also attend training sessions without a computer.

Event Registration:
To register for the Event, you will need to complete and submit the online registration form; you will receive an email confirmation that Simply Training has received your registration; registrations are processed in the order they are received. The registration fee for Day 1 or Day 2 is $475 + HST per day or $800 + HST for both Day 1 and Day 2. Space is limited to a maximum of 25 spots per session.

Event Registration Payment: Payments are secure and can be paid by Visa, MasterCard or e-Transfer to registrations@simplytraining.ca. We do not accept cheques. By submitting your registration, you agree to be contacted by email or by phone provided in the registration. We do not sell or share your information with anyone or any company.

Registration Refunds:
Once registration is confirmed and payment processed, it is a final sale, and no refunds are permitted. The registration can be transferred to another person for the exact event dates by emailing the office at registratons@simplytraining.ca. Simply Training is not responsible or liable for any travel arrangements; cancellation of travel is the responsibility of the registrant.

Event Attendance: Registration confirmations are for the date and times of the event; you will be required to check in and present your registration email confirmation upon arrival at the event.

Event Cancellation and Changes: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Simply Training will not be held liable in the event of the cancellation or changes to dates and times due to any unforeseen circumstances that are beyond Simply Training’s control; any situation or causes that delays or prevents any or all of the Event to happen. Simply Training reserves the right to change programming or substitute content at its discretion, with or without notice to you.

COVID-19 and related Health Policy: Staff and attendees’ health and safety are a priority, and we will follow Ontario’s COVID-19 policies that are in effect on the event dates. By registering to attend the event, you acknowledge, understand and agree that Simply Training cannot eliminate the risk of you being exposed to or contracting COVID-19 or any other health-related viral diseases. You agree to abide by the Corporate Event Centre Health and Safety policies and Ontario’s Provincial Government regulations and recommendations.

Code of Conduct: Everyone has the right to a safe learning environment free from discrimination. This event is inclusive and free from discrimination, regardless of race, national origin, colour, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or others outlined under applicable law. All attendees must be respectful and considerate of the other attendees.

Denial of Entry: Simply Training offers a safe learning environment and reserves the right to deny an individual entry to the event or to leave the event who is threatening others, violent, using abusive or discriminating language, or intoxicated; such behaviour will not be tolerated. Individuals asked to leave the event forfeit their registration fees; fees are non-refundable.

Media Restrictions: Video and Audio Recordings will not be permitted during any event sessions. Photos may only be taken if the persons in the picture have granted permission. Simply Training may want to use images for marketing and other purposes and will obtain the proper permissions to use photos.

Use of Event Information: Simply Training may collect information throughout the event to help improve future events; information collected will apply to Canada’s privacy laws and regulations.

Release of Liability: Simply Training shall not be liable for damages of any kind resulting from errors or omissions in the events materials or liable for any damages resulting from the use of its events materials or other information conveyed at the event. Simply Training’s directors, employees, instructors and speakers shall not be liable and are hereby released from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses, relating to or arising out of travel to and from the event, any injury or disease to any person arising from or in connection with attendance at the event.

Governing Law: The laws of Ontario govern the terms and conditions.
