This webinar demonstrates the preparation process for completing a company’s payroll year-end, doing the checks and balances, and making corrections before completing T4 Slips and Summary. You will learn how seamlessly paycheque earnings and deductions automatically roll into remittance reports and T4 Slips and Summary. We share payroll scenarios and review payroll reports on how to spot errors and then how to make corrections. How to use T4 Boxes: 16A Second CPP, 44 Union Dues, 45 Dental Benefits, 46 Donations, and 71 Indian Act Employment. To reconcile employees’ subledger Vacation Pay to Vacation Payable and make VP adjustments. Once the payroll review is complete, we prepare the T4 Slips and Summary for e-file. We then complete the steps of rolling Sage 50 into a new Payroll Calendar Year and complete maintenance checks before completing the first payroll in the new year.
